A decision was made. All B2B house brands would now be marketed together, rather than separately. The goal was to encourage purchases across the brands and promote cross selling opportunities. Four stand alone brand websites were to be replaced by one site, hosting all five house brands. This site would utilize year, make, model, and e-mail capture to deliver specific results to the user. The site will reach out to them via e-mail marketing and automated marketing to announce sales, new products, promotions, news, and events. SEO and Analytics will baked in from the start to monitor site performance.
BigCommerce was chosen as the website management system. A theme was chosen, and completely redesigned to fit the needs of RPUI. Start to finish the project took 6 months. The RPUI.com site has yielded the highest sales rate of any B2B site in the companies history to date.
